GenES-VBD is developing genomic tools to improve surveillance of UK ticks and the pathogens they carry.
The project focuses on genetic barcodes, amplicon sequencing, geospatial and phylogenomic analysis, and bioinformatics capacity for stakeholders involved in tick-borne disease surveillance.
